Villinger is the stoniest part of the Burkheimer Schlossgarten vineyard. A very small section and just 1,200 bottles made. Very powerful on the nose. This wine is a glorious symphony of rich golden flavour that sweeps across the palate like a queen in coronation robes. Creamy peaches, almonds, and glittering acidity. Real depth and concentration. Immensely, velvety Pinot Gris. Elegant fruit notes e.g., pineapple and pear. Very harmonious acidity.
This is paired brilliantly with shellfish and delicate meaty fish such as monkfish.
