Sonett is an internal qualification for high-quality dry wines that are both appealing on the terrace and can also used very well as food companion.
In the nose so amazingly fresh with ripe green apples, citrus and floral scent. Bright aroma on the palate, brilliant and attractive with a very fine density, but also wonderfully lively. Tropical fruit and nice citrus flavours such as Pomelo. The ripe acidity is well interwoven and yet very refreshing. Accessible charm combined with vivid character, an astonishingly versatile wine.
Through handpicking and the gentle treatment during pressing and ageing, the wine has already reached drinking maturity and can be stored for an other 2 to 4 years.
Tasting Score: 90
Review: Perfumed white blossom, Pinot Blanc citrus and grapefruit refreshed by a good level of acidity, followed by spicy white peach and hints of minerals on the nose. This Weissburgunder has a weighted texture with white pepper.
