"Jasmine and lactic notes on the nose. Tinned pears and light white peacheines with a tiny bit of spritz giving it lift." / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson / 15 points
Tasting: This Grauburgunder has a wonderfully juicy aroma of fully ripe cantaloupe melon and yellow pears. Round and smooth, it has a full-bodied character on the palate with a perfectly integrated acidity. This dry white wine is exceptionally well balanced and harmonious in aroma, but also with subtle, unobtrusive spice in the finish.
Character: Sonett is an internal qualification for high-quality dry wines, which can be ideally used as a food companion or for everyday enjoyment.
Food recommendation: This wine works excellent with fish dishes, poultry ragout or rustic vespers. As well in combination with various types of cheese or pasta a perfect enjoyment.
Soil: Fruitful loam and loess soils.
Alcohol: 13,0% vol.
