Tasting notes by Tamlyn Currin
Tamlyn is part of renowned wine critic Jancis Robinson’s team - she is an excellent wine writer and manages the organisation’s tasting notes.

"From the driest and stoniest part of Feuerberg. They used to grow hay there, hence the name Haslen. Such an intense nose. Nectarines, late-harvest apples, honeysuckle and jasmine. Then just glorious. Floods the mouth with flavour, rounded and full-bodied yet with beautiful, elegant, cool lines. Like marble and diamond dust and cold cement dust and petrichor with a voluptuous roundness of almost tropical fruit. An 'and yet' wine - elements that seem contradictory and shouldn't fit together, and yet they do, in perfect polyphony. Long, mouth-watering, one more glass please. Wonderful. So incredibly long that I feel it tingling in my spine. Goosebumps wine."
