This Riesling was produced from a small harvest of grapes grown on vines that are over 70 years old. Mineralic and delicate, 2020 is an exceptionally fine vintage - playful with great freshness, gripping, with very fine fruit flavours. The Riesling Alte Reben shows a perfect balance between fruit and spice. A white wine with an elegant structure and lively finish.
Vineyard: The Kochan & Platz winery is located on Lieser, in the heart of the Mosel. There, the vineyards have steep slopes and terroir unique to the region. Their deep respect and the way they work in harmony with nature, guarantees excellent quality wine.
Vinification: Immediately after delivery to the winery, the grapes are gently pressed. The must is clarified and fermented at a controlled temperature of 14-18°C.
