Vineyard: South-East facing vineyard with a total surface of 15,2ha. 0,75ha is half by the Bassermann-Jordan estate. The name is given by the black Basalt stones which origins are volcanic.
Fermentation: Fermented 50% in stainless steel, 50% in traditional oak barrels, 100% spontaneous filled in July 2015.
Soil: Sandy-loam, sandstone, clay and mostly basalt.
Nose: Citrus, peach, flowers, nuts and flint
Palate: Elegant, fresh acidity, herbaceous
Food recommendation: With fish, white meat and seafood
Alcohol: 13,5 % vol.
Acidity: 6,8 g/l
Res. sugar: 4,4 g/l
