Vineyard: The grapes for this Pinot Noir were grown in vineyards with rich limestone soil on the Southern Wine Route.
Vinification: 2018 was an exceptional year. Becker were able to harvest healthy, dried berries without botrytis. The grapes were carefully selected by hand, de-stemmed and gently pressed. The restrained fermentation and further expansion took place in stainless steel tanks.
Wine: This Pinot Noir Beerenauslese is a delicate golden yellow with a touch of pink with a mouth-watering aroma. On the nose, it has aromas of citrus and yellow fruit paired with white blossoms and white chocolate, as well as the scent of potpourri and creamy notes. On the palate, it has a mild acidity which complements its sweetness. The mouthfeel is round and soft with a harmonious finale.
