Slate features heavily in this vineyard of old stone terraces – the hottest vineyard at Meyer-Näkel. Deep and sweet scents of baked plum and quince. Intense and spicy and powerfully built. Dark spices and a hint of roast tomato. Richly packed with fruit, but emphatic tannins underscore the finish. The most imposing of the Meyer-Näkel Spätburgunders.
