The grapes for this Riesling are from different vineyards around Ruppersberg and Deidesheim which were picked at the beginning of October. The grapes were soft pressed and the must settled for 24 hours. The fermentation was 100% in stainless steel. Direct pressing and temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Yeast contact until February.
Soil: Sand, loam, clay and sandstone.
Food recommendation: Perfect to pair with light, modern cuisines, such as asparagus with parma ham or edamame beans with goats cheese and figs. Also perfect on its own.
Alcohol: 10,0% vol.
Acidity: 7,8 g/l
Res. sugar: 37,1 g/l
