Uses 10% old barrels and leaves the wine on lees for five or six months. Quite pronounced nose of green mango and fresh tarragon. Quite broad and full, a panoply of sweet tropical fruit carved into restraint by reverberant acidity. A bit of green pepper lingers on the finish. Good Sauvignon! (Tamlyn Currin – JancisRobinson.com)
The Sauvignon Blanc 2014 has mature aromas of gooseberries, red currants and citrus fruits. It’s rounded up with a mineral and savoury finish, which makes this wine complex and richly flavoured.
