Winemaking: For their wine "Melaphyr" the grapes are coming from a steep, south-facing slope, which warms up quickly. Based on volcanic rocks. The Riesling grapes for this wine were harvested after a very long growing season, after two selections in the second half of October by hand. After the maceration period of around 6 hours, the grapes were gently pressed and temperature controlled fermented with natural yeasts.
Taste: Modern, crispy Riesling with intense flavours and a spicy exotic aroma.
