Schneider's "Melaphyr" wine is made from the grapes that are grown on a steep, south-facing slope which is rich in volcanic rock and warms up quickly.
The Riesling grapes for this wine were harvested after a very long growing season, after two selections in the second half of October by hand.
After maceration period of around six hours, the grapes were gently pressed and temperature controlled fermented with natural yeasts.
Taste: Modern, crispy Riesling with intense flavours and a spicy exotic aroma.
