For the Estate wine "Melaphyr" the grapes come from a steep, south-facing slope that warms up quickly due to volcanic rock.
The Riesling grapes for this wine were harvested after a very long growing season, after two selections in the second half of October by hand. After a maceration repiod of around six hours, the grapes were gently pressed and temperature controlled fermented with natural yeast.
Taste: Modern, crispy Riesling with intensive flavours and a spicy exotic aroma.
