The vineyard parcel Winkler lies within the Ihringer Winklerberg site and has been nick-named "Rappenecker" for a long time. This parcel is situated on an exposed point of land on the soil of limey and fertile loose rock with higher loess content. Sue to their boys, luscious fruit and richness in the aroma, these wines are showing their potential already early in their youth.
Bright, fresh and very appealing fruit of candied lemon peel, tart white apples, spring blossoms, and white almonds. Underlined with a discrete and remarkably filigree minerality. Lovely vivid fruit is full of freshness and brilliance on the first impression on the palate. Crystalline texture, elegant and rich in finesse. Very charming, but at the same time with a filigree acid structure, subtle spiciness and fine minerality in the finish. Decidedly animating and with its day bright aroma very vivifying.
Food recommendation: A superb wine along with peached or pan-fried fish dishes. oysters and crustaceans, as well as pasta dishes.
