Aldinger's 2014 Sauvignon Blanc uses 10% old barrels and leaves the wine on lees for five or six months. This delicious white wine has quite a pronounced nose of green mango and fresh tarragon, as well as a broad and full panoply of sweet tropical fruit carved into restraint by reverberant acidity. Green pepper lingers on the finish. Good Sauvignon! (Tamlyn Currin – JancisRobinson.com)
This Sauvignon Blanc has mature aromas of gooseberries, red currants and citrus fruits. It’s rounded up with a mineral and savoury finish, which makes this wine complex and richly flavoured.
