The grapes were harvested from 10-20 years old vines in the vineyard sides of Appenheim and Gau-Algsheim. The vineyards are affected by clay and limestone soil.
All grapes were selected and picked by hand. Maceration on skin, must clarification and fermentation with natural yeast in steel tanks until January. Afterwards another mature on lees until bottling in March.
Clear fruit flavours of apricot and citrus on the nose. Complex and spicy on the palate with aromas of ripe peaches. A classic Riesling with fine, mineral and crispy finish.
