Bischel's Riesling "Terra Fusca" dry has flavours of spice and yellow stone fruit on the palate. On the nose it has aromas of pear, pineapple and peach. This medium-bodied dry Riesling has a lively acidity, as well as a great elegance and an intense mineral finish.
Vineyards: The grapes that were used to produce this Riesling were harvested from the old vines grown on the steep, south-facing slopes of the vineyard in Gau-Algesheimer, St. Laurenzikapelle and Goldberg. The "Terra Fusca" soils are rich in clay and limestone.
Vinification: All grapes are selected and picked by hand. Maceration occurred on the skin. The wine then fermented and matured in steel tanks until January.
Alcohol: 12,5% vol.
