Solter

The Solter family produce not only the German equivalent to French champagne, but the best sparkling wine Germany has to offer, winning the World Champagne & Sparkling Wine Awards in London in 2015, as well as medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards in the same year. Sadly, Helmut Solter passed away in 2013. His wife Verena and their two children now run the estate.
