

Bercher's velvety ruby red Limburg Spätburgunder has aromas of sour and sweet cherries, as well as hints of dark chocolate, bitter orange and figs. It has a finely balanced tannin structure on the palate with mineral, juicy length on the finish.
The grapes for this wine were hand picked and gently pressed. Mash fermentation took place for for 18 days, followed by then 24 months ageing in barriques (oak barrels).
Food recommendation: The perfect comapnion to rabbit roulade with prunes and rosemary jus or rack of lamb with a tapenade crust.
