"Vineyard on loess. Partially barrel-fermented. No new oak. White peaches, pink peach skin, apricots, walnut skin. There is something tree-bark-like folded into the fruit which sounds awful but is actually delicious. Strata of fruit and nuts and white spices and sweet-green-leaf notes. Broad length and great crumpled-paper texture."

This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) Grand Cru is rich golden yellow in colour. Enormously smooth, this dry white wine has elegant fruit notes of ripe pineapple and pear. It also has a very harmonious acid structure.
Food recommendation: Pairs well with fried crustaceans such as lobster sauce or filet of monkfish in Pinot Gris sauce.
