Location: The grapes for our Estate Spätburgunder come from various vineyards. The soils on which these vines grow are heavily influenced by limestone.
WINE: Cherry fruit with a touch of cassis, great spice, juicy, wonderful drinkability, subtle oak influence, slightly smoky, a great Pinot for all occasions, can also be served slightly chilled.
VINIFICATION: Selective handpicking. Spontaneous fermentation with partial whole clusters. Aged for 12 months in used barriques. Unfiltered bottling. Afterward, 3 years of bottle aging before being released.
AGING POTENTIAL: 3 years.
FOOD PAIRING: Grilled meat, veal, Italian cuisine.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: Around 12°C.
