Kranz 2021 Estate Spätburgunder dry

Wine: This dry yet juicy Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) has cherry fruit flavours with a touch of cassis and spice. Wonderfully drinkable, it has a subtle oak influence and slightly smokiness,. An excellent Spätburgunder for all occasions. It can also be served slightly chilled.

Vineyard: The grapes for Kranz's Estate Spätburgunder come from various vineyards. The soils on which these vines grow are heavily influenced by limestone.

Vinification: Grapes were selectively hand picked. Spontaneous fermentation took place with partial whole clusters. Aged for 12 months in used barriques (oak barrels), followed by unfiltered bottling. Afterward, the wine matured for three years in the bottle before being released.

Food Recommendation: Pairs perfectly with grilled meat, veal and Italian cuisine.
