Tasting notes: On the nose, this dry Riesling has fruity notes of apple, peach, and lime, as well as hints of elderflower. On the palate, this white wine is juicy and mineralic, with a fresh acidity and saltiness.

Vineyard: The grapes for this wine The grapes for this wine originate from different vineyards around the village of Deidesheim in the Pfalz region of Germany.
Located in the heart of the Palatine, the estate "Weingut Geh. Rat Dr v. Bassermann-Jordan", was founded in 1718 on 49 ha now around the Deidesheim and Frost. The centerpeace of the success are the top vineyard sites, which are among the best of the country. Such as Kirchenstück, Rechstein, Ungeheuer, Jesuitengarten and Hohenmorgen. In 1802 first quality wine of the Paltine with indication of origin and bottling at the estate. In 1910 co-founder of VDP.

Soil: The Deidesheim vineyards have soil rich in loam and clay.

Harvest: Grapes were carefully selected by hand at the end of September 2019.

Cellar: The grapes were gently pressed. The must was left to settle for 25 hours, then fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless still tanks. This Riesling was bottled in March 2020.

Drinking recommendation: Enjoy this Riesling as a young wine with dishes like pasta or salad, or when aged it will also be the perfect accompaniment to roasted or barbecued meat.
