Situated at the western brim of Deidesheimer, the Hohenmorgen is one of the oldest examples for palatinate quality wine making. Hohenmorgen is a south-facing slope with a total surface of 2,76ha. 2,09ha are owned by Bassermann-Jordan estate. It is his smallest and most exclusive vineyard of Deidesheim with the highest rated quality of soil.
Taste: Decent fruit, yeasty, lovely acidity
Nose: Nutty, mixed fruit, slightly citric aromas, herbaceous
Alcohol: 13,5% vol.
