Winery: The Kochan & Platz winery is located in Lieser, in the heart of the Middle Moselle. In Veldenz the Kochan and Platz families grow their wines. Most of them are on steep slopes, they make up the fascination and the special terroir of the Moselle region. The deep respect of tradition in our region guarantees excellent qualities.
Vinification: Immediately after delivery to the winery, the grapes are gently pressed, the must is clarified by natural sedimentation of the lees and fermented at a controlled temperature of 14-18 Celsius.
Wine: The Riesling Classic comes from slate sited in Lieser. Fresh minerality united in this wine with a delicate hint of ripe fruit. The tangy acidity underlines the fruity components of lime and peach. It has a strong structure and an inspiring finished.
Drinking temperature: 6-8 Celsius
